ABOUT ME

My name is Ewelina Janiak. I am a psychologist and an integrative psychotherapist, a member of BACP (the British Association for Counseling and Psychotherapy). I follow the BACP code of ethics and my work is regularly supervised by certified supervisors.

My experience

At the beginning of my journey, I gained professional experience at the Mental Health Centre „Feniks” and the Silesian Centre for Integrative Psychotherapy in Katowice, Poland. Currently, since 2017, I have been working as a psychotherapist at the Therapy Centre in Birmingham. From May 2023, I also work in the office, which I run at home in Gloucester.

My education

I completed psychology studies at the University of Strathclyde and postgraduate studies (Masters) at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. I completed my 4-year study at the Polish Institute of Integrative Psychotherapy in Krakow. I work in an integrative approach, that draws from various modalities, including: psychodynamic, systemic, cognitive-behavioral, Gestalt and body work psychotherapy. I learn and use a variety of different techniques and methods, so that I can help patients with various needs, in the shortest possible time.
